About Valerie K. Zammitti

Valerie K. Zammitti is an associate attorney of Power Law Firm LLP. The firm focuses its practice exclusively on trusts, estates, and elder law.

Valerie is admitted to the bar of New Jersey and New York, as well as the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. She is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys.

Valerie completed her undergraduate education at the University of Virginia, where she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Mathematics. She earned a full swimming scholarship at UVA and was a major contributor to the University’s Atlantic Coast Conference, Division I team.

Valerie later earned joint degrees of Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law and Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University Business School. She held consecutive editorial board positions as Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Business Law Journal. In order to achieve a higher level of expertise in tax and estate planning matters, Valerie continued her legal education at the Graduate Division of New York University Law School and was awarded the prestigious Master of Laws degree in Taxation.

Valerie dedicated herself to competitive swimming for many years and became nationally ranked. Among many other accomplishments, she participated in the 1996 Olympic Trials.

As a result of lifetime multi-tasking, Valerie takes pride in efficiently assisting clients through each phase of estate planning. Her ability to effectively communicate complex estate and tax principles comes easily to Valerie, a prior coach and tutor. She is committed to helping clients minimize taxes and make life easier for their loved ones.
